So, this review will continue with our Canadian invasion of Corezine.net! Ever since our review of Counterparts, we have had Structures and now King Cobra. King Cobra is a lot different from Counterparts and Structures though. King Cobra is more hard rock instead of hardcore/metal. While King Cobra might be on the lighter side of our recent Canadian reviews, they are in no way inferior.

After a pretty insufficient previous release, Before The Throne Of Infection, I really hoped Annotations Of An Autopsy would create something that was as good as their EP Welcome To Sludge City.

Best Song: Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride

Although they’ve been around for nearly ten years now, Four Year Strong officially arrived on the pop punk scene as a force in 2007 with their release of Rise Or Die Trying. Their popularity has skyrocketed and has since landed them a deal on Universal Motown, a move that has only broadened and accelerated the growth of their fan-base. Hundreds of shows, a cover album, and a few years later we arrive in 2010 where Four Year Strong are back with their brand new album entitled Enemy Of The World.

Do you like brutal metalcore? Do you like music that makes you want to just start breaking stuff for no reason in a fit of metal rage? Well if you answered “yes” or “hell yes” to both of those questions then look no further than Structures. Structures recently contacted Corezine.net and asked us to review their upcoming EP entitled All Of The Above. I have recently run into a string of bad luck with a few of the last bands that have asked for a review so I was a little hesitant but after quickly checking out their tunes on MySpace I was extremely enthusiastic to blast this music throughout my house.

Artist Vs Poet is a pop rock band that originates from Dallas, Texas. In fall of 2007, the lead singer, Tarcy Thomason, started seeking for new members to join his new pop punk band. Four individuals were interested and the result was the emergence of Artist Vs Poet. Once the band was formed, they played several rock shows and soon started to grab the attention of others due to their catchy music. About a year after the band was created, they were signed by the well-known record label, Fearless Records. Afterwards, Artist Vs Poet, released two EP’s that set in motion for the production of their debut full-length record “Favorite Fix”, which is set to release on March 2, 2010.

Stellar Kart is a christian rock band from Phoenix, Arizona. “Everything Is Different Now” is their fourth studio album and first on INO Records. This is their follow up album to “Expect The Impossible” that was released in 2008. Stellar Kart, lead singer and songwriter Adam Agee decided to take a more worshipful approach in their latest effort. With this in mind and being a part of a new label, we can understand why the opening track of the album titled “All My Heart” is an up-beat rock song with harmonic backing vocals and a strong vocal message that alludes to the idea that Jesus fills one’s life with joy, praise and energy.

Traces of You is a five-piece metalcore band out of Italy and is currently signed to I For Us Records. I did not really know what to think when I first got this CD from I For Us. I have reviewed two other I For Us bands that were good but nothing really to get excited about. Well I For Us has really got something with this outfit out of Italy. When most people think of Italy naturally, you think of great food, beautiful women, and Rome. I never thought to think of Italy putting out a powerhouse metal band but that is exactly what they have done. This album is not flawless but it is solid for sure.
