The name Farewell Circuit always brings an image in my head that i love. It’s an image I saw on their myspace page. The picture contains the singer, the bassist and the guitarist performing on stage: singer Danny stands on the front singing with great thought in his mind.It seems as he is ripping himself appart on stage and letting you have all of him and his music.I dont even know why I like this image, i mean it’s only a tour picture but it says so much about this band. When ever I listen to them this face appears in my mind.

Best Song: Till våning tretton
Score: 9/10

Dorena is a five-piece instrumental post-rock group from Gothenburg, Sweden. These instrumentalists have crafted effective beats and original melodies for their debut album “Holofon”. Music you’ll find on this release has the ability to amplify anything you may feel, which i think should be idea of music. The sound takes you away to it’s wonderful soundscape, holding you from the first notes till the end. Making you feel the band is manipulating with you trough music, changing how you feel. With “Holofon” Dorena simply offers as music capable of making you forget anything. They are not asking for your full attention, the music itself will take it.

Best Song: Remuer Les Pieds Dans L’Eau, Les Yeux Clairs
Score: 9/10

I had the privilege to review RQTN’s first EP “We were… We are”. It was a good debut of a young post-rock talent. With “Monolithes En Mouvement” he departures from post-rock and starts experimenting with different genres, lending tehniques from different eras. Finding his inspiration from classical, impressionism. Mixing it up with a descent use of electronical drums. I could draw a connecting line with Ólafur Arnalds. If “We Were… We Are” was a good debut, then “Monolithes En Mouvement” is a sign of an amazing progression, what doesn’t happen with that many artists.
