“Break Your Frame” is the band that will make you think of beer and hot girls. Their music is light as a feather! It’s fun, it makes you happy and most important of all, it makes you sing along. This 4-piece band from Gothenburg, Sweden, released their EP last month, containing happy pop-punk-rock that seems to be made for parties.

You’ve probably heard of this band before, as one of their songs has been on heavy rotation on radio stations, and on the swedish tv show “Robinson”. Of course, as you might have guessed, I am talking about “Dead By April” from Gothenburg, Sweden, and their hit song “Losing You”, which is found on their self titled debut album.

Death Cab For Cutie – The Open Door EP

Here is the thing: this is Death Cab for Cutie and I need to go no further. This is a band that does not need to prove itself anymore. They have had their ups and downs, their mistakes and successions. I don’t even care that they flew into bubbly sky of mainstream because of an annoying teen-drama-soap-opera.It is okay because they have that something that most of the bands nowadays are lacking! They have soul and heart and melody and Chris Walla’s amaezing producing talent and Ben Gibbard’s vocals that sounds like your sweetest lover. As the title of a song from their previous album „Narrow Stairs“ that is called „I will possess your heart“says they WILL possess your heart and it have come to a conclusion that they have already done this with my heart and I am not afraid to admit it.

Memories Of A Dead Man – Beyond The Legend

“Memories Of A Dead Man” (MOADM) is a 5-piece metal band from France, combining several genres and styles into their very own bland of kick-ass music. I will be honest with you, I am quite ignorant to french metal. What I want to say is, sadly, I don’t know much about the french metal scene at all. But if “MOADM” are any indicator for their country’s metal quality, then I am very, very impressed with it.

Nemas – If We Could Play Faster, We Would

Best Song: White Dove
Score: 10/10

Nemas is a band that takes you back to the days when music was about having fun, not giving a fuck about what others think, simply not taking itself so damn serious. You know, the good ol’ days!
They have just released their debut album “If We Could Play Faster, We Would” (released on 15th of May) on Plunk Records, and after just listening to the first two songs, I already knew this record was going to be a good one!
This 5-piece punk-rock band hails from Gothenburg, Sweden, and I got to say this band has put a spell on me with this album. It’s, simply put, a kick-ass album. It really is one of those “damn, it’s getting late, I need to go to work early in the morning, but I can’t stop listening to this cd” kind of record.

The Process – Vultures Of Human Decay EP

Label: I FOR US RECORDS

Best Song: Droger & Sprit
Score: 7/10

The Process are a 5-piece punk/hardcore band based in Gothenburg, Sweden (are all the good band from Gothenburg now-a-days, or what?) who have just released their six-track EP on I FOR US RECORDS (two songs are in Swedish).
Inspired by the political climate of today, “The Process” break their way into the swedish youngsters hearts with their belief in always giving all that they’ve got; and always trying to take it one step further. And what does all this mean? Well, it means they are trying to push their own sound a step further, to give the audience and listeners of this EP something different from today’s punk/hardcore bands. Did they succeed? I believe so; I think “The Process” EP “Vultures of Human Decay” is a nice output to the swedish punk/hardcore scene.
