What happens when you crossbreed dancy electronic with crazy tracknames and brutal screaming? I’ll tell you what you get, it’s One Morning Left’s six track debut EP “Panda <3 Penguin”. This 5-piece band from Finland brings a combination of hardcore/rock/electronic to the table with this ep. I can’t think of many bands that bring a similar style with such uniqueness, except maybe two other euro-breed bands Enter Shikari and Helia. Appealing to a multitude of fans, ranging from pop fans to hardcore, making it both danceable and brutal at the same time. They released their ep with hopes of getting word spread around about them, and it seems to be paying dividends already with “BDL3ftoverZ”, over 100,000 plays on myspace.

Hailing from the deep woods of Sweden, the five memebers of Adept have crafted a unique blend of what can best be called “pop-core”; a combination of famous “swedish” screams and tart-sweet melodies. Therefore I am not surprised they have a big – and still growing – fan-base. Their first release “The Rose Will Decay EP” (TRWD), released in 2006 through Pretty Dirty Promotions, was groundbreaking because never before had a Swedish band received as much fame and number of good reviews in the post-hardcore scene. A few years past, and they are back with the new album “Another Year Of Disaster” which was released on Febuary 4th through Panic & Acion.

I’m pretty sure you’ve already heard about this band, as they are one of the biggest “underground” bands in Sweden. If you haven’t, I will let you know some facts about them: They have a rocky past with ups and downs, and band members leaving. They have two EPs titled “Hope For The Hopeless” (2007) and their latest “Tension In Bloom” (2009).
They are talented muscians, who put a lot of effort and passion into their music. Music they have completely made themselves – they even self-released the EP! Far Above are best known for their great performances on stage, and, as I’ve mentioned before, creating passionate rock music. Their debut EP “Hope For The Hopeless” was their big breakthrough from being practically unknown, to being on everyone’s lips; which of course is the reason the EP was completely sold out.

It’s hard to review a band like In Harbour. It’s a brilliant combination of indie-rock, post-rock and ambient music. Brilliant because everyting fits right in and it’s hard to decide which part is really the best one. I could always say what an amazing work they have done, but at some point you feel that a band deserves a bit more recognition than just saying “good work guys, keep it up!” kind of things. I’ll just start by introducing the band. Yeah.
